Who are Goodwash Co.?

Mandy and Kelly (not forgetting their four legged friends and co-owners Maisy and Duffle) are the team behind Goodwash Co. This Welsh, female, ex international Sportswomen power-duo are just a few months into their journey and are already making a huge difference, one wash at a time. Each of Goodwash Co.'s candles are hand made by local people with learning difficulties, all products are vegan using ethically sourced materials, local where possible and within the short period of 4 months in business, the team have already donated over £2000 to Hope Rescue, funded 12 homeless from Street Football Wales to all gain BTEC foundation qualification and have fully funded the Llamau Welsh homeless helpline for a day over Christmas. And if this is what they can achieve in such a short space of time, it will come as no surprise that they have pledged to raise a goal of £1million over the next 3 years; and I for one have no doubt they will achieve it.

"We will also partner other luxury ethical brands to ensure our customers can remain socially conscious without having to compromise on quality helping improve lives one wash, one soy candle or one welsh blanket at at time.
We are strongly against animal testing. We give all our profits to local projects that improve the lives of animals and people via our GW foundation, independently managed by the Community foundation in Wales."

Why Goodwash?

"We have both independently travelled all over the world through sport and work and both agree there is no place like home, or the people of Wales. We wanted to create a high end Welsh brand that promoted not only our language but the best of our land, sea and culture. A brand that not only was of the finest quality but looked good, felt good and did good at the same time.
We came up with wash product idea as it is something we all do each day and by simply choosing to buy social you can help improve lives one wash a time. Our Welsh nans would always tend to say before tea time…. ‘Make sure you have a goodwash… ’ or ‘ he needs a right goodwash he does…….’ and we thought it would resonate as its simple and it is what it is says it is!"
