Helfa Gelf is Wales' biggest open studios event connecting artists and makers from all corners of North Wales. During the month of September, artists open their studio doors to visitors from far and wide as an opportunity to buy handmade products and artwork, meet the maker and discover the variety of creative talent in North Wales.

Being a member of the Helfa Gelf community allows artists and makers to network, learn, build their business' and be part of a successful and long running platform. Throughout the year, Helfa Gelf offers a variety of workshops, seminars and lectures to it's members aiming to encourage and enhance artists of all different levels, in their individual creative process. There are a huge amount of opportunities to be had being a member, the knowledge and expertise to be shared is invaluable. Not to mention, access to exhibitions, competitions and opportunities to help boost your creative practise and support your business.

For years, the Art Trail has been publicised through a printed book, which, has acted as a directory of makers, studio opening times and directions. However, this year they are going digital. I have jumped on board the Marketing team and, along with new energy from Project Coordinator Rachel Rosen, we have a few plans up our sleeves to make the thirteenth year of Helfa Gelf bigger and better than ever!

Look out over the forthcoming months to see what Helfa Gelf has in store, and if you live and work in North Wales, why not become a member? Go on.

Registrations close on Monday, 11th June and can be done online here
