Coming up next at Art at the Hall this summer, by Bridgid Lizou

As Art at the Hall enters its third year of exhibitions we have decided to mix it up a bit for a wonderful, magical Midsummer show opening on Friday 21st June, Summer Solstice evening.

Art at the Hall has made many new friends during the past few years and we have decided to join forces with some of the best in their field to make for a new and exciting venture.... We are delighted to be IN CAHOOTS with:

Tim Bowen Antiques

Andrew Douglas-Forbes of Llwygawl,

Trudi Petersen of Found and Seek

Jess Jones with Little Barn Nursery

All participants have their roots in Wales and, having gone out to see what the big, wide world had to offer, have returned with their artistic endeavours enriched by such as Italian art and opera, London fashion and the gardens of Europe.

Now an award winning exhibition recognised for “Excellence in Visual Arts & Crafts” at the Celebration of Culture in April 2018, Art at the Hall is attracting new exhibitors to compliment the already rich collection of local artists and makers. An Exhibition of Artist and Makers, the 2D and 3D artworks are displayed together on units to suggest how you might show these pieces in your own home. We are taking this notion to the next level by inviting 3 three of the most interesting antique furniture and interior businesses in south wales to join us for the show, there will be more suggestion of room settings. Exhibitors include returning local artists and makers and many showing with us for the first time, displaying their work together in this beautiful Hall.

Please, join us!

The Exhibition will run for 9 days 22nd - 30th June, opening each day 11am - 6pm.

Thursday 27th June we will extend opening times to 7.30pm with Jin Talog running a Gin Bar into the evening.
