Calling all Makers.

Two opportunities have come to light recently that you may just want to get involved in.

Last week I met with Llio Wyn who has the exciting task of organising mentorship schemes for Makers in Wales. Agora is a brand-new project that provides free support to new and small businesses that produce goods that are grown, grazed and made in mid and south east Wales. The project is funded by Welsh Government Rural Communities and is spearheaded by Menter a Busnes. The team are looking for new and emerging Makers for whom they can offer support, guidance and business advise for free. Sounds like a good deal to me.

For Makers with a bit more experience, the hugely successful and award-winning team behind the Made by Hand craft fairs are looking for makers for their November show in Cardiff. Attracting number’s in their thousands, Sarah James and her hardworking team provide a platform for craftspeople to exhibit and sell their goods to a wide audience. Click below to apply.
